Heart of Emerge

This track is a Full Time and Part Time Internship. Emerge Interns will have the opportunity to rotate through every department, giving them a chance to have a New Hope experience and practicum. They will have the ability to help run church projectsand conferences, serve at New Hope big rock events and program, go on Mission Trips, and attend an off-site conference. Most of all, develop skills as a leader and spiritually grow as a believer.

CURRICULUM |

The primary hands-on ministry will be with the ministries. Interns will be taught various skills for ministry, life, and leadership. Each intern will also work weekly & monthly with various leaders, pastors, and ministries of New Hope Oahu

We believe in reaching others locally and globally. We desire to be passionate to fulfill the great commission set in Matthew 28:19, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Missions to Japan, Tonga, Philippines, and Nepal will be on a "limited space available" basis.

We support interns who want to take their leadership to the next level in their academics. We are partnering with Pacific Rim Christian University and we will scholarship up to 6 credits if qualified.

Will study Wayne Cordeiro's STEPS teaching on topics such as Team Building, Leadership, and Biblical Communications

All Emerge Internship students have the option to hold part time employment. This allows students to meet additional expenses, as well as maintain a well-rounded lifestyle working within the church and community.
